Outfit: Black Jacket

I am sure that most of us who live under a warm weather know the feeling of wanting to leave the house wearing a blanket on a rainy day or when the temperature drops a little bit, however; we know that if we leave the house completely covered, there is a possibility that when the sun comes out an hour later, we have to spend the rest of the day inside our own microwave. However, on these gray days, where suddenly we have an important meeting or an appointment that we can’t miss, and we have to look a little more presentable than normal, sometimes I find it complicated to decide what to wear in order to feel well dressed, pretty and at the same time versatile in case the climate decides to change again.

Today I show you this look, that as you can see is super simple, chic and comfortable. I live in Miami and there are times when the weather can be totally unpredictable. For this reason, on gray, rainy or cold days, I like to wear something that can be versatile in case the sun decides to play when I’m “on the go.”

On this look, I’m wearing a skirt, since I knew I was always going to be indoors, but the weather outside was a little chilly, so I decided to accompany it with a black jacket to have something heavier and warmer. I wore green boots, which in this case, are the highlight of the look and it takes all the attention. When I use something very colorful, I usually try to make the rest of the clothes neutral.

Sometimes I receive many messages from you, saying that you would like to use more colors, but perhaps it is complicated to combine them. This is a perfect and very easy example of how to do it. Black and white will never fail you. Go ahead and get out of your comfort zone with colorful and eye-catching pieces!

For me, what is really important about days like these, is that you feel comfortable, warm and beautiful at the same time 🙂 Always try to go for that! and remember that you have the power to add color and warmth to your gray days.

Estoy segura que a la mayoría de los que vivimos en climas calientes nos ha pasado que de pronto cuando baja la temperatura un poco o cuando hay días lluviosos, lo que desearíamos es salir con una cobija puesta literalmente, pero sabemos que cuando salimos de casa totalmente cubiertas, hay una posibilidad de que salga el sol a la hora y tengas que pasar el resto del dia adentro de tu microondas. Sin embargo, en estos días grises, donde de repente tenemos una reunión importante o una cita que no podemos perder y  tenemos que lucir un poquito más presentables de lo normal, a veces se me hace mas complicado buscar que ponerme para salir bien abrigada, linda y versátil a la hora de que el clima decida cambiar otra vez.

Hoy les muestro esta idea de outfit que como ven es super sencillo, chic y cómodo. Yo vivo en Miami y hay épocas donde el clima puede ser totalmente impredecible. Por esta razón, en los días grises, lluviosos o frescos me gusta tener un look que pueda ser versátil a la hora de que salga el sol mientras estoy “on the go.”

Les cuento que para este día escogí una falda, ya que iba a estar siempre bajo techo, pero el clima de afuera estaba fresco y por eso decidí acompañarla con una chaqueta negra un poquito más pesada y caliente. Use botas verdes, que en este caso, son las que resaltan el look y se llevan todas las miradas. Cuando uso algo muy llamativo, normalmente, trato de que el resto de la ropa sea neutral.

A veces recibo muchos mensajes de ustedes, diciendo que les gustaría usar más colores, pero quizás se les complica combinarlos. Este es un ejemplo perfecto y muy fácil de como hacerlo. El negro y el blanco jamás te van a fallar. Anímate a salir un poco de tu zona de comodidad con piezas coloridas y llamativas!

Para mi, lo que es realmente importante acerca de días como estos, es que te sientas cómoda, cálida y bonita a la vez 🙂 Siempre trata de ir por eso! y recuerda que tu tienes el poder de ponerle color y calor, a tus dias grises.
